Description

This is another of the premier Durango rural subdivisions with high end homes and beautiful expansive views of the mountains. Even though this is only a mile past the Shenandoah subdivision, the trees change to Piñon and Juniper with scattered Ponderosa pines. Almost every lot in the subdivision would have outstanding views. Some lots have views to the West where you can see the Sleeping Ute Mountain West of Cortez and the Needles Mountains by Purgatory…. a distance of approximately 75 to 80 miles. There is a large green belt within the subdivision. The latest phase of the project has lots that will look down on the new Lake being built as a part of the Animas La Plata Project. There will be no lakefront lots available on the Lake at all. View corridors in the subdivision have been protected through the use of strategically located building envelopes. Horses are allowed, but the number of horses is restricted based on the number of acres of land.
