area not included in these figures. All data was collected through CREN, the Durango MLS system.

Four times a year I analyze all of the residential sales in La Plata County and post those results on my websites. You can find more detailed statistics at our Durango Real Estate Statistics page. I’m regularly interviewed by the Durango Herald regarding La Plata County real estate sales stats. Since residential inventory is so low right now, I thought I would do some research on vacant land sales. Who is selling the most? In order to accomplish this I thought I would do a 3 year sample, so I went back to January 1, 2018 and searched every land sale through December 31, 2020.
