Description

The subdivisions are located approximately 20 minutes south southwest of Durango. Access to the subdivision would be on paved Wildcat Canyon Road. All of the roads in the subdivision, are gravel and privately maintained including County Road 136 which while a County road, is not maintained by the County. We have now moved into what I would consider the high mountain desert area. Piñon and Juniper and sage with a very few Ponderosa pines make up vegetation. Most but not all of the subdivision is served by a central water system. Truly, any well in this area can be a bit spotty so care must be taken in that regard. On all lots sewer is handled via a septic system. Many of these lots have very, very nice views of the La Plata Mountains. This would be a good location for a person who needed to commute to Farmington, New Mexico for work as you could take the back way to Farmington which should be State Highway 140. General terrain is rolling with hills but nothing real steep. Horses are allowed.
