Description

Description: Durango Ridge Ranch is a community of very nice rural homes. Many people have horses because the property adjoins Colorado Division of Wildlife lands so you’re able to ride many months of the year. That is also an area where you could go big game hunting during certain times of the year. You would need a license, of course. It sits in a valley on the north side of Highway 160 just beyond Durango West II subdivision. Terrain is very rolling to steep with some sections containing Ponderosa pine trees. Most of the ranchettes are covered in gamble oak. All of the roads are graveled and maintained by the homeowners association. This would be a subdivision where on any one day you might see bald or golden eagles flying, bears playing, or deer and elk grazing. Water is obtained by drilling your own well and sewage disposal would be by septic system. Some of the lots and homes located at the top of the subdivision have very pretty views to the South as well as to the mountains to the north. The homes located in the bottom of the valley near Sheep Creek, would tend to have a bit more pasture land and likely some deciduous trees.
