Like the other Animas Valley subdivisions, Blue Sky is located on flat land with large deciduous trees as you go further East towards the river. This is not riverfront property however. The subdivision is located immediately next door to the Animas Valley Elementary School, so grade school kids would have an easy time going to and from school. All streets are paved and the subdivision is served by central water, sewer and natural gas. Homes in this project are a bit more modest than you would see in Dalton Ranch. There would be pretty views of Missionary Ridge and Hermosa Mountain. This subdivision sits back off of Highway 550 quite a ways, so there would be no road noise and the access road coming into the subdivision is paved as well. Typically the lots are not large, but they appear much larger since there is an extensive greenbelt surrounding all of the properties. The greenbelt is maintained by the Association and is well taken care of being watered and cut by the HOA.
