Patented Mining Claim Maps and Surveys

 These sample US Mineral Survey Plats, also called patented mining claim maps, had to be prepared for every mining claim that eventually became patented.  Physical features on the ground such as streams, cliffs, the mine’s discovery cut, roads and any existing tunnels had to be shown.  These patented mining claim maps and surveys are all within the Minnehaha Basin Silverton Colorado.
