Description

Located past Lemon Reservoir at about 8500 ft in elevation. Gravel roads start at the south end of Lemon Reservoir. Lemon Reservoir has about ten miles of shoreline and is about 150 feet deep. Fish in the reservoir include brown and rainbow trout and even Kokanee salmon. There is a boat ramp located at the north end of the reservoir. These two subdivisions provide privacy and seclusion in the pines and aspens. There is an elevation change as you head up into each subdivision. Most building sites have nice level building areas. Close to 2,000 feet higher in elevation than Durango, you really need to like snow because there is plenty of it in the winter. A four-wheel drive vehicle is a must for winter access. Wilderness Lakes roads are gravel and very well maintained while Florida Park roads can be quite rough. Water service would have to be by private water well. Sewer service would be provided by installing your own septic system. Bottled propane would be necessary as well.
