Developed in the 1970’s long before there was any expansion of the city limits out 32nd St. Although this is still “country property”, it does offer terrific proximity to the city limits and ease of access to town. A small commercial center was built in 2009 less than a mile away. These lots are all quite flat since this area used to be farming/grazing ground. Trees that are there now have had been planted by homeowners. Views are to the north up the Animas Valley. There is lots of wildlife including elk, deer, assorted waterfowl because it’s near the river and other animals that enjoy living close to the river. A lot of the homes are quite modest, there are some larger and pricier homes as well.
