Description

This project is very similar to its neighbor, ‘Tween Lakes Estates. Subdivided by the same developer years ago, this project has much flatter roads in it than does its neighbor to the west. For that reason the homes are a little bit nicer and you have more year-round people in Enchanted Forest. There are still lots of spruce trees and even some Aspen trees. The property is generally sloping with some flat areas or benches making for good building spots. The property is all south facing and since it is a little further east, you have better views down the Pine River Valley. Back in the early 2000s when we had our big fire, some of the upper lots in this project were affected. By removing those burned trees, however, it opened the views up even more. Some of the lots on the very eastern side of this subdivision actually have a view north up the Pine River Valley so that they can see Vallecito Lake. The North side of the subdivision would adjoin San Juan National Forest. Typically you would see deer, eagles and hawks, bear and an occasional elk. The roads are all gravel and are maintained by the homeowners association. You would obtain domestic water by drilling your own water well and sewer service would be provided by installing your own individual septic system. There is no natural gas, so bottled propane would be necessary for that type of service.
