Description

This project was developed in the late 1970s and was intended for people who wanted to have acreage for horses and animals as well as to allow for modular homes to be placed. This is pretty much all meadow area with some trees in the Northwest corner and the Southwest corner. This sits in a valley so there are not distant views to the mountains. The subdivision does not have irrigation water so the land tends to be greener in the spring of the year and then start to dry out as the hot weather of summer arrives. The road is gravel. There is no central water system so each person would need to drill their own water well and install their own individual septic system. There is no natural gas service so bottled propane would be necessary. This is also a known gas well area so we would need to do some extra due diligence to deal with that issue. County Road 225 is paved, so you would only have a short distance of graveled road to get to your home. This would not be ideal turkey area, but I would certainly expect for you to see deer in this project. You may see an occasional eagle because the Florida River is only about a quarter of a mile west of the entrance to the subdivision. Since this subdivision is a little bit older we do see a mix of quality of homes.
